Description
Groove City is a drumming quartet for beginner/intermediate percussion ensembles. Using a simple rhythm ensemble, parts can be doubled and played on any available instruments. Using simple rhythms and repeated patterns, this is sure to be an energetic crowd pleaser!
This piece draws inspiration from funk drum kit music and the drumming ensemble compositions of John Parker. With rhythms being sent all around the ensemble, players should consider themselves to be a part of a greater drum kit.
