Hey everybody,
At my school’s Vocal Soirée, I performed a new song with my beautiful sister Eden. Kudos to my sister, she’s a beautiful singer and I’m really glad she performed with me, it was her first performance in public and she was wonderful. It was a great night, filled with performances from all the school choirs, as well as small ensembles and solo performances.
The new song is called “Adventure” and it’s about (as the title suggests) having an adventure, leaving all the things you are used to, breaking out of your routine and going out into the world to have some fun, to go travelling, to experience things you’ve never done before and to see the world in a new light.
The coming holidays are going to be a big whirlpool of opportunities and compositions coming out, so please keep checking this site for new recordings and compositions, because they’re going to keep coming! 🙂
Enjoy (lyrics below),

Driving through the country
Going out to see the world
Feeling the wind in my hair
Wanna’ see what’s out there
Left behind my nine to five
Gonna surf and learn to dive
Freedom makes me feel alive
Every day another place
Every stop a brand new face
My world is getting bigger
Chorus:
Left my small town
For the big life that’s out there for me
What a feeling
What a thrilling
Adventure
Standing on the mountain
Feeling on top of the world
The wind is blowing my hair
I can see what’s out there
Woke up at the break of dawn
Walking with my backpack on
All my fears and worries are gone
Looking up into the sky
Up there where the eagles fly
My world is getting bigger
Chorus
Wo ooh wo ooh, wo ooh wo ooh
Wo ooh wo ooh, wo ooh wo ooh
2 x
[Going back to my small town
After my adventure
I know it’s bigger
I know it’s bigger out there]
Chorus
What a feeling
What a thrilling
Adventure

Excellent statement. More young people should follow the example of the person in the song. Both my children did that–explored the world beyond their natal homeland–and are richer than their friends who never ventured out. I’d like to think the world is richer for their experiences.
