Description
Inspired by the xylophone rags of George Hamilton Green, Ruh Roh Raggy is a fun xylophone rag with bass and drums accompaniment.
I wrote this puppy during the intense rain in early 2022 that preceded flooding in Brisbane, Australia. Dancing around my house like a loon listening back on it, I had a lot of fun writing and learning this!
This will get any avid fan of xylophone rags working their wrists and practicing runs and rolls.
It is first and foremost a xylophone solo with accompaniment so arrangements are encouraged, and soloists may choose to perform unaccompanied and improvise.
The video below features the talents of: Andrew Johnson on Double Bass Lachlan Hawkins on Drums.
