This video is of Mac-Cussion, which you would have seen in the earlier videos, playing our final concert for the year, Music at Mac. We are performing Castlemaine Rock by Brisbane based composer John Parker in the dark with UV lights and masks.
It’s been a very memorable piece for me, since I’ve been performing it for about three and a half years. It’s a great piece to play and especially to perform in front of an admiring crowd, and Music at Mac was definitely one of those performances.
If you look carefully you’ll see that when the lights go out, some of the paint from the paint drumming performance before, is still on a few of our faces. A nice effect that wasn’t thought of earlier, but I think added quite nicely to the whole performance.

It’s extremely high in energy and pumped with an entire year’s fun of touring and performing.
Enjoy!
