So, Music at Mac was an especially amazing event at the end of last year and definitely one of the best concerts to leave school with. Mac-Cussion, which you would have seen in the earlier videos, had somewhat of a feature that night and put on a really great show.

Hey everybody,
At my school's Vocal Soirée, I performed a new song with my beautiful sister Eden. Kudos to my sister, she's a beautiful singer and I'm really glad she performed with me, it was her first performance in public and she was wonderful. It was a great night, filled with performances from all the school choirs, as well as small ensembles and solo performances.

This is a video of my performance of 'Suffocation' at my Music extension class recital.
I wrote it in memory of my cousin Guy, who died in a motorcycle accident.
It is a very metaphorical piece in the way it's composed, so keep an eye out for all the hidden stuff ;)

For the past 8 days, I've been at a special music camp run by the QLD government for music students. It's my second time there and I'm having an absolute blast!
Last night was our first concert for the parents and I got to sing a great song you'll easily recognise with the MOST Big Band - Hello, Hello by the Cat Empire.

Last Friday, Mac-Cussion flew to Melbourne for the next round of Australia's Got Talent. We were so excited!
Our school principal decided to surprise us and when we were about to go on stage, we saw that our parents were in the audience! She had secretly flown one parent from each family to see us play and support us. My mum even brought little packets of lollies for all of us with little cards that said "Mac-Cussion Rulz".
It was a very different experience to the auditions. Being on
Mayfest is an annual school festival at my old primary school and every year, my high school bands and choirs get to perform there. This year, I got to sing George Michael's song Freedom with the Macgregor State High School Show Choir.
Later that day, we sang other songs and I performed with two of my friends and then on my own. I'll post those videos later, so stay tuned.

This is a moment I've been waiting for a long time. Macgregor Percussion Ensemble's performance on the popular TV show Australia's Got Talent.
